In the last couple of weeks, the Golden Care Home residents and staff members have been receiving their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination. This process signifies that our residents and employees are our top priority.
The first doses of the vaccine were administered at our premises on Saturday 30th January 2021.
“The uncertainty and protracted nature of the pandemic has brought with it multiple operational challenges in care homes. While the necessary infection control measures have been strictly adhered to, in order to mitigate risks and protect our loved ones, the roll out of the COVID-19 vaccination has now managed to instigate a shift from fear to reassurance amongst residents and relatives,” said Jackie Camilleri, CEO of Golden Care Home.
