Our strategically located Care Home in Naxxar is looking for an experienced Accounts Executive. The ideal candidate should have good communication and a high degree of organisational and accounting skills.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role.
- 1st Degree in Bachelor of Commerce with Accountancy as one of the major areas.
- Currently reading for ACCA Certification.
Primary Responsibilities
- Posting of suppliers’ invoices
- Processing of suppliers’ payments
- Monthly reconciliation of suppliers’ statements
- Raising and posting of debtors’ invoices
- Posting of bank receipts/deposits and issues of remittances
- Chasing of debt collection
- Posting of bank accounts and posting of all bank transactions including EPOS
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Posting and reconciliation of inter-company accounts when necessary
- Liaison with suppliers for procurement purposes and raising of Purchase Orders (POs) for procurement purposes
- Verification of payroll timings via punch clock and T & A (time & attendance)
- Computation of monthly payroll including posting and departmental analysis thereof
- Issue of mandatory payroll forms including FS3s, FS5s and FS7s as well as payroll reconciliation for audit purposes
- HR and Personnel duties including renewal of NON-EU permits
- Monthly departmental stock takes to ensure the creation of a controlled environment
- Regular posting of all nominal ledger entries leading up to Trial Balance
- Compilation of monthly Departmental Management Accounts including ratio analysis
- Compilation of actual and projected cash flows
- Compilation of operational departmental budgets and monitoring of departmental variances from approval budget
- Preparation of internal audit file for statutory audit purposes
- Implementation, setting up and maintenance of Shireburn Financial and Stock Systems
- Implementation, setting up and maintenance of Payroll System
