Our strategically located Care Home in Naxxar, is looking for an Events and Administration Executive to join the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
To assist in advertising and marketing research initiatives in order to support business initiatives
To come up with new ideas and suggestions with respect to the co-ordination of events programmes including both in house events as well as outings for our wide spectrum of clients
Fully responsible for the booking and scheduling of events. This requires liaison and communication with the CEO, Head Chef, Clinical Team and any other related HOD depending on the nature of event.
To assist in the co-ordination, setting up and delivery of all types of events which can vary in nature and duties
To liaise with clients’ relatives when management decides to extend event invite to relatives also
To liaise with advertising and marketing agency in the delivery of relevant information when requested.
To come up with new ideas and initiatives, so as to ascertain ongoing creativity within the whole care concept
To commission, liaise and communicate with events mentors/organisers in the delivery of craft, art and another classes delivered to clients falling under different dependencies and which craft classes vary with seasonality and clients’ mobility and abilities
To design adverts and flyers deemed necessary for the advertising of ongoing events both inhouse as well as on social media
To co-ordinate, schedule and carry full responsibility for the booking of any activity, class or event held at Golden Care. This encapsulates communication with related third parties including incoming entertainers as well as booking of transport or setting up both in terms of maintenance and housekeeping
To ensure that pictures of organised events are taken and forwarded to Management in a timely fashion for social media and digital advertising.
To upload pics on Golden Care Home’s website and take full responsibility for the maintenance and uploading of the Care Home’s ongoing events programme
To ensure that high standards are retained at all times when dealing with stakeholders and clients particularly when co-ordinating events.
To take full responsibility of chapel events including daily mass and rosary as well as any other religious activity organised in the chapel during festive seasons eg: Easter and Christmas
To take full responsibility of the clients’ hairdressing and beauty appointments. This includes liaising with the clients and/or clinical teams to schedule appointments with our standing hairdressing and beauty team
To take responsibility for all the communication and reporting to the Active Ageing Dept in relation to all events and activities aspects of the Care Home
To co-ordinate the collection and distribution of clients’ gifts provided by the Welfare Committee with the responsible Ministry
Fully responsible for the ordering and dissemination as well as management of stationery and printing items
To carry out errands required by the Home in the day to day management of the operation
To carry out any other general administrative task as directed by Management and Directors
